Business Rules

By joining Mantra RP City, you agree to follow and abide by the following rules. Failure to follow these rules may result in punishment and the removal of your business.

1.1 As the owner of a business, you are responsible for operations, employees, and roleplay standards at your establishment.
1.2 Actions taken by you or your employees while on duty reflect on your business and must comply with city rules.
1.3 Only one business per player. This means only one of your characters can own a business; your other characters cannot.
1.3.1 Your other characters cannot be any Chief of City Services (LEO/EMS/DOJ).
1.3.2 The character that is a Business Owner cannot own a gang.
1.3.3 As a Business Owner, you cannot be a Government Official (Staff) at all.
1.4 Owners are responsible for all actions of their employees that are clocked in.
1.5 Owners must maintain a safe, fair, and immersive roleplay environment in their business and ensure the business does not violate city rules.
1.6 If you wish to sell or transfer ownership, you must open a ticket with staff for approval. Transfers or sales cannot occur without staff authorization, and staff will ensure the new owner meets requirements.

2.1 Owners must supervise employees, ensure compliance with rules, and promote awareness of roleplay standards.
2.2 Employees must clock in only when physically present and actively working.
2.3 AFK paycheck farming is strictly prohibited; employees cannot idle just to collect income.
2.3.1 The only exception is a quick "in their head" break (bathroom, grabbing food) for no longer than 10-15 minutes. They must clock out after that.
2.4 Owners must train employees on city rules and proper business interactions.
2.5 Employees should read both Mantra RP's Business Rules and the business owner's rules to prevent mistakes and ensure consistency.
2.6 Owners must monitor employee behavior and remove or correct employees who break rules.
2.7 Owners are responsible for keeping logs or notes of employee duties if necessary.

3.1 Provide fair, realistic services or products that contribute to roleplay.
3.2 Services and products must be offered fairly and consistently to all players.
3.3 Do not give free services, repairs, or items.
3.3.1 Exceptions: you may help new fly-ins if your business has a "New-Fly In" rule and offer reasonable discounts (e.g., 5% for PD/EMS).
3.4 Do not abuse business mechanics to exploit income, resources, or roleplay outcomes.
3.5 Pricing should be reasonable based on city economy and resources used.
3.6 Employees should follow proper roleplay when interacting with customers.
